Angus Watt - Managing Director, IISAngus graduated from York University in 1974 with a degree in Political Science, and immediately entered the investment industry. Currently, he is Managing Director, Individual Investor Services, National Bank Financial. His expertise is in assisting with long term Financial Planning, Group Benefits, and Estate Planning. He is a past recipient of the Investment Dealers Association ‘Program of Distinction Award’ for the Prairie Region. Angus and his team manage over $500,000,000 in assets, have over 120 years of combined market experience, and are experts in Investment Management as well as Insurance and Benefits planning. As Central Alberta’s Business Authority, Angus broadcasts 62 times per week on Global TV and 630 CHED. Angus is Chair, Alberta Order of Excellence Council, and Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He is past Chair and currently a Director, Edmonton Police Foundation, board member of the TELUS Edmonton Community Board and the David Foster & Friends Edmonton Committee 2008. He serves as an advisor to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Hearing Foundation of Canada, and Little Warriors. Previously, Mr. Watt was twice chair of The United Way of Northern Alberta, and also chaired The Minerva Foundation, The Support Network, and The Support Network Foundation. He is a past recipient of the “Paul Harris Fellow”, awarded by the Rotary Club of Canada. |

Jane Alm - Investment AdvisorJane has been working with Angus Watt since 1980, and has been with National Bank Financial since 1982. She is fully credited with IIROC as an Investment Advisor with options. She became a partner of the Angus Watt Advisory Group in 2006. In the past 15 years, Jane has developed an expertise in North American income products ranging from overnight money to long-term securities. As our team’s fixed income specialist, she is responsible for providing a weekly interest rate comment and assists in the development of our fixed income opinion. In addition, Jane assists the group with portfolio supervision and servicing. |

Jan Frederickson - Investment Advisor, CFPJan joined the Angus Watt Advisory Group in January 2002. Jan comes with over 30 years of experience in the accounting/finance/ investment industry, and is licensed with IIROC as an Investment Advisor with options. In 2006, she became a partner of the Angus Watt Advisory Group. Jan is a CFP Professional who received her CFP certification in 2009. She holds her Life and Accident & Sickness Insurance Licenses, has completed the Professional Financial Planning Course through the Canadian Securities Institute. Jan has an extensive knowledge of personal income tax and assists the group with financial planning, portfolio supervision and servicing. |

Angela Grekul – Senior AdministratorAngela joined the Angus Watt Advisory Group in May 2007, bringing with her 15 years of experience in the investment industry. Angela assists the Advisory Group in the areas of human resources, marketing, special events, budgeting, and operations. She is in the process of obtaining her IIROC licensing. |

Jelica (Jill) King – Investment AssistantJelica joined the Angus Watt Advisory Group in January 2005 with over 14 years experience in the investment industry. She is registered as a “Registered Representative” with IIROC. Jelica assists the group with client administration and institutional account coverage. |

Kelly Gibson, FMA - Investment AssistantKelly graduated from the University of Alberta in 2004 with a BSc with Specialization in Mathematics and Finance. Ms. Gibson has been with the Angus Watt Advisory Group since graduating and is IIROC licensed as a “Registered Representative”. In April 2008, Kelly received her Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. Kelly deals mainly with research on investment funds and month end reporting. |

Jason M. Ewasuik, BABF – Investment AssistantJason has graduated in 2009 from the J.R. Shaw School of Business at The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology as a Finance Major. Jason started with the Angus Watt Advisory Group in May of 2008. He has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook and is licensed by IIROC as an Investment representative. Jason is a CFA Level 1 Candidate: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute. Jason’s main duties include trading, security coverage and economic research. |

D. Geoff Cook - Benefits & Planning DirectorGeoff studied Marketing and Finance at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. His experience in the insurance industry began in 1996, and 18 months later he joined NBF Financial Services, partnering with Angus to offer Insurance & Group Benefit services. Geoff became a partner of the Angus Watt Advisory Group when it was formed in 2006. He specializes in employee benefits and compensation programs, corporate/personal planning and risk management. Geoff holds licenses for Life and Accident & Sickness Insurance issued by the Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario Insurance Councils. As Benefits & Planning Director, Geoff and the other advisory members analyze, strategize, negotiate, implement, and communicate group benefit and investment programs. Geoff has been involved with numerous volunteer organizations over the past 15 years, and is currently President of The Minerva Foundation. |

Barb Huculak - Benefits & Planning SpecialistBarb graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in psychology. Prior to joining NBF Financial Services in 2004, her background was in small business and business development where she derived strong skills in project coordination. Barb has become fully licensed in Life and Accident & Sickness insurance with the Alberta Insurance Council and is currently continuing her education toward obtaining her Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation. As a Benefits Specialist, Barb works with group clients on current benefit plan matters. She also provides assistance in the ongoing analysis of their benefit needs. |

Alysha Nicholson - Benefits & Planning AssistantAlysha graduated from Grant MacEwan College with a diploma in Business Management, and has since been working at National Bank Financial. She joined the Benefits & Planning division of the Advisory Group as a Benefits & Planning Assistant and has become fully licensed in Life and Accident & Sickness insurance with the Alberta Insurance Council. Alysha deals with group benefit programs, client communication, and administrative matters, in addition to the administration of new and in force insurance policies. |

Erin Lees - Benefits & Planning AssistantErin graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Marketing. She has continued her education by completing the Project Management Professional certificate, and is currently enrolled in the Canadian Insurance Course working towards becoming a licensed member. Erin, as part of the Advisory Group, continually assesses and monitors client benefits and Group Savings and Retirement programs. |

Tracy DesLaurier, RHU – Senior Insurance SpecialistTracy recently joined the Angus Watt Advisory Group in March 2009. Tracy comes to us with 17 years experience in the industry, and is a former President of ADVOCIS, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada (Edmonton Chapter). Tracy specializes in risk management for corporate and personal insurance planning; using products such as life, critical illness, disability, and long term care insurance. He assists the group with personal and corporate insurance solutions, estate planning, and business succession. Tracy is a two term member of the Alberta Insurance Councils Appeals Board, and is Vice Chair of Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta and NWT. He also sits as a Board Member with the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association, and NABIS – The Northern Alberta Brain Injury Society. |

John E. Green - Investment Advisor, Former Branch ManagerJohn formally joined the Angus Watt Advisory Group in 2009 after finishing his most recent role with National Bank Financial As Edmonton Branch Manager. With him he brings 10 years of experience working with Investors as well as 10 years experience as a business owner and Information Technology expert. John is responsible for special projects within the group and with a high degree of technology proficiency will be keeping our group at the forefront of systems capabilities. As a fully registered Investment Advisor he will also be cultivating new business relationships and growing the group's client base while striving to utilize technology to the benefit of all clients. |
